Product Description Good things come in small packages, and the JVC GR-D650 1.33-megapixel high-band digital video camera is a great example of this. The JVC GR-D650 captures, clear crisp visuals, even in low-light conditions with its LED auto-illumination light for lighting up your video scenes, and a NightAlive feature that boosts light sensitivity for a bright picture with full color images. This digital video camera uses the Megabrid engine to maintain a high signal-to-noise ratio for video, which allows for a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 for HG digital stills. The GR-D650 can connect directly to your computer via Firewire, at which point it can be used like a web camera for video conferencing or remote monitoring applications, and ImageMixer software that is bundled in lets you easily upload clips to your PC and e-mail them as MPEG-4 files. This unit features a 30 millimeter filter, and a 15x optical and 700x digital zoom, and can operate in one-lux lighting conditions in NightAlive mode. Using the NTSC system, this camera records in the MiniDV format, and includes time coding, date and time stamping, and audio/video dubbing.
