FujiFilm FinePix A310
The A310 is a conventional-looking, silver-colored point-and-shoot compact camera with an all-plastic body, a finger grip that doubles as the power switch, and a sliding metal disc that protects the 3X zoom lens while recessed. The unit comes equipped with a 1.5-inch LCD viewfinder and a fairly accurate optical viewfinder. You save images to an xD-Picture Card (one 16MB card is included). The camera is powered by two double-A batteries. A handful of controls are scattered haphazardly on the unit, and for the most part are confusing or poorly identified. The memory card/battery compartment door on the bottom of the camera lacks a safety catch to prevent the batteries from falling out when the door is opened. The USB port is positioned on the side of the camera, so it can nestle into the unit's optional cradle/charger.
